    PERFORMANCE TASK # 1 IN BUSINESS MATH

    GOAL: Your goal is to present an analysis of prices that will help the business in setting the prices of your
    products
    ROLE: Retailer

    AUDIENCE: Business partners


    SITUATION: You and your business partners are going to put up a stall in a bazaar to resell products of
    your choice and you have come up with a commercial to advertise your business for the upcoming
    bazaar.

    PRODUCT: Product and price analysis


    STANDARDS: Your analysis will be evaluated as to how informative and accurate the information
    therein and your advertisement will be evaluated based on creativity, persuasiveness, and
    relevance of the content and how fast you have submitted your task.

    INSTRUCTIONS:
    For each product, make a price analysis to see the amount of mark-ups/mark-down you
    added/deducted on each cost and selling price. You must present the following:

    • Photos of each product


    • Cost of each product
    • Selling price of each product
    • Mark-up/Mark-down of each product
    • Mark-up/Mark-down % of each product
    • Basis of your mark-up or markdown
    • Total sales and profit
    • ALL COMPUTATIONS RELATED TO SETTING THE PRICE
