1 Changes
1.1 Introduction
Milsoft’s Version 8.7.62 quarterly release includes a fix for grounded wye-delta transformers being deleted by Fault
Current analysis, a new ARC file layout type, "All" and "Work Environment" map point visibility filters added to
DisSPatch, and a "Momentary Outage" preference added to the DisSPatch Server service.

This release also includes new customization options for the columns in the Customers tab in the new Call Manager,
changes to ETOR settings options during Storm Mode, and performance improvements to the OMS Predictor and the
new Call Manager.

1.2 Features
This section will go over the feature additions to the release of Version 8.7.62.

1.2.1 EA

WindMil can now import Arc Flash data in the new .ARC ascii file format.
Moved all the .ARC export file documentation to html format.
Updated the WindMil Import Dialog to include appropriate options for the new Arc Flash file format (.arc).
The "Use Voc" and "Use Ibf" fields in the Arc Flash Calculator now allow editing, so users can test how the
voltage and fault current at an element affect the arc flash analysis results.
Updated the WindMil Export Dialog to show the new .arc file format for Arc Flash data.
WindMil can now export Arc Flash data to the new .ARC ascii file format. This includes both element specific
data as well as data calculated through Arc Flash analysis.
Voltage Drop analysis now includes transformer no-load loss as part of its total power loss calculation. Element
fields such as Connected KVA Loss will now be affected by the no-load losses of connected transformers.
Changed power reclosers to hydraulic in the sample LTD.
Added Element Label positioning to Project Management.
Added in the export scope options for .arc file type.
Fixed .ARC file layout documentation to indicate fields that are only exported and not required for import.
Updated STD File Layouts documentation to properly define the Element Name field as using up to 25
characters and the Electric Switch Status Code having Open as the default mode.
Now calculated voltage data is only logged to project management during real-time analysis.

1.2.2 GIS

Changed the connection string text box in the External Table Manager to now mask the password.
Fixed issues with resources cleaning up properly when closing models in WindMilMap.

1.2.3 OMS

Added a setting that enables verifying downline predicted outages when a SCADA verify open comes in.
Added ability to exclude consumers from WOV outages by specifying which reporting areas to exclude.
DisSPatch default ETOR setting is now disabled by default during storm mode, and a new option exists to keep
it enabled.
Meter events will now include meter numbers in the assessment comments.
Added info for historical outages in the Call Manager Service.
Call history records now show details when clicked in the Call Manager Service.
The Customers tab table columns are now customizable in the Call Manager Service.
Customers table columns are now customizable in the Calls Manager Service.

 The call details in the Call Manager service now display the Customer Type for priority customers.
Users can now resolve calls in the Call Manager.
Logged Events tab now updates when check list items are edited from Call Manager.
The Outage Data Service will now store the database version for the Outage Event table.
The Outage Data Service will now store the database version for the Outage table.
The Outage Data Service will now request all the changes of the tracked tables on startup.
The NISCNotification send to the NISC MDM Service for outages will include a database version to track the
current version of the data. This is used to request any missed notifications based on that database version.
The ODS will now publish updates to closed outages to the NISC MDM Service.
ODS now has a method for the NISC MDM Service to request outage notifications from when it was down.
The NISC MDM Service will now request outages from the ODS when it starts up to catch anything changed
since it was down.
Added "All" and "Work Environment" map point visibility filters to DisSPatch.
Individual Location Outage History Report now uses OutageDurationCustomerData instead of ServiceLocation
to obtain the ServiceAddress data.
The DisSPatch Server service in the Service Manager now has a "Momentary Outage" preference, allowing users
to define the threshold in minutes below which an outage is considered momentary. The default is five minutes,
as specified by RUS 1730A.
Added a server side sqlite cache to the Call Manager to improve performance.
Initial pass on OMS predictor optimization.
Added a message icon in the new Call Manager Open Calls tab to indicate when a customer message exists for a
call.

1.2.4 Miscellaneous

Increased ClientInstallers acceptable length for server addresses far beyond the width of the text box.
The NISC MDM Service can request outages for a specified time period from the ODS.
NISC Outage messages now include the interruption count.
Updated various copyrights to 2021.

1.3 Bug Fixes

This section provides a summary of bug fixes in the release of Version 8.7.62.

1.3.1 EA
Fixed issues that caused setting a sectionalizer's min actuating current to instead be set to its current rating in
LightTable's Device Database.
Fixed an issue where some values in the user-defined databoxes were displaying 100 times greater than their
actual values.
Fixed issue with Circuit Diagnostic warnings on Y-D Open transformers when rephasing upline elements.
Fault current fields now correctly display secondary currents on transformer elements in user-defined data
boxes.
Fixed Access Violations when attempting to export OpenDSS in ImportExport.exe.
Changed Kvar fields to Thru Kvar fields in Thru Load template for UDDB.
Fixed an issue that caused motor "Thru kW" to be incorrect for motors on center-tap circuits.
Load allocation now retrieves load group power factor data from the model's system data when not yet set on
the load control point (such as when the control point source data is imported from a text file).
Fixed issue with the "Add Prefix to Names" lua script that would not notify you if the rename failed due to the
new name already existing in the model.
Fixed hovertext when using underground or secondary default constructions.
Removing center-tap from a transformer now correctly updates downline loads.
Fixed an issue in which the displayed Project Count would not increase when moving an analysis to a project

 type folder in the Project Management tab.
Fixed an issue in LightTable where some valid curve intersections were not correctly detected.
Fixed LightTable to preserve digital relay pickup amp settings when clearing a single curve.
Arc Flash and Fault Current now correctly identify clearing devices with no transformers between them and the
fault location.
Fixed an issue that would cause grounded wye-delta transformers to be deleted by Fault Current analysis.
Arc Flash analysis now correctly utilizes ground curves to determine clearing times.
User-defined data boxes now print correctly in Windows 10 version 20H2.

1.3.2 GIS

Removed non-existent "Map Name" field from Map Point types in WindMilMap.
Fixed issue in WindMilMap that caused Date fields to also show a time in the Attributes page.
Fixed issue that caused ArcMap to crash when editing a external field of 'Date' type with the Attribute window.
Fixed issue where changing a map point's pole type did not update its external tables.
Missing domains are now re-created on model open in WindMilMap.
WindMilMap now removes unicode control characters from domain values to allow ArcMap to properly save
them.
ArcCatalog correctly displays WindMilMap geometry.

1.3.3 OMS

Fixed CalculateIndices stored procedure to correctly calculate TMED for reporting areas.
Fixed issue that prevented legends with scrollbars from resizing in Unplugged.
Adjusted prediction algorithm to only visit sections once in order to prevent outages sometimes skipping the
expected outaged element and predicting too far upline.
Assessment print preview now works as expected in Unplugged.
Uninstalling Customer Import using Installer Aid no longer deletes the linked local model inside the installation
folder.
When an Individual Account Outage History Report is created with multiple interruptions, the report now uses
the interruption count when joining data to prevent duplicate rows.
Added Exclude Planned Outage parameter to the Outage History Report.
MultiSpeak Service now marks imported SSL certificates' private keys as exportable.
Fixed Milsoft Web Server querying non-existent field when refreshing customer data deltas.
The text in the Service Manager now adjusts properly when the window is resized.
The items on the Logged Events tab are now preserved in the Call Back tab.
Fixed an issue with the Public Web Outage Viewer where weather data wasn't showing up for outage locations.
Unique Calls in the Last Hour at the bottom of the Call Manager now updates without needing a manual
refresh.
Fixed Calls Manager call history ticket to show the same customer info shown on a call ticket.
Fixed an issue where the TimeOfLastCall could be set to an invalid time via integrations.
Fixed issue with the new Crew Manager Service where Crews would show multiple times on the grid.
Adding phases to downline nested outages now properly creates new and preserves existing duration records.
Downline nested outages will now use the original duration record time from the upline outage if it's earlier than
the event time and call time.
Discarding a nested outage that was verified after the upline outage will now properly create duration records on
the upline outage.
Added dropdowns to choose a supervisor and foreman employee to input the supervisorID and foremanID.
Blank names no longer cause the entry in the grid to appear as an empty space.
The popup box to select what the user wants to create now displays properly in Firefox.
Edit employee modal now populates all required fields.
InsertCloseCallRecord now uses a table variable to store the intermediary results to prevent issues with locking.
Fixed the incorrect field names in the webserver for GetCallBackEvents.

1.3.4 Miscellaneous

Client programs will no longer start and/or update files if the updater service is not responding.
Fixed issue that allowed WindMil to be interacted with while the Apply Recent Projects window was being
shown.
You can now click on or launch InstallerAid without right-click > Run as Administrator as it will now prompt
the user for elevation properly.
Resolved issue where the GetAllMeters MultiSpeak method would not load meters from CIS.
External date time fields are no longer converted to UTC when saved to the database, nor are they converted to
local time when read from the database. Applications will now simply store what is entered and display what is
stored.
The CAD Layer checkbox list inside the Map Properties window now behaves as expected.
