OFFER OF PROVISIONAL ADMISSION FOR 2021/2022 ACADEMIC SESSION (MORNING/EVENING)

I am pleased to inform you (JONATHAN KATAIKO GYANG) that after considering your application for admission
into this institution, the Academic Board has offered you provisional admission to study HND CIVIL
ENGINEERING in the Department of CIVIL ENGINEERING during the 2021/2022 academic session.

Note, your admission is subject to your fulfilling the following requirements;

. General Requirements
1. That you are prepared to make arrangement for your accommodation and feeding. However, there is limited
accommodation at the Main Campus (for females) and possible NDI and HNDI on “first come first serve” basis.
Interested candidates should go to Students’ Affairs Directorate for payment and Documentation on same.
Priority will be given to graduating students.
2. Where you secure the said available bed space, you are expected to make arrangements for your own mattresses;
3. That at any time, even after registration, if it is discovered that you do not satisfy the minimum entry
requirements prescribed for your course of study at the time of the offer, you will be required to automatically
withdraw from the Polytechnic.
4. That you are prepared to conduct yourself according to rules and regulations of the institution.
5. That in the event of breach of any of the rules and regulations of the institution, you are liable to accept any
disciplinary measures deemed fit to be administered.
. Registrations
1. The fees applicable to you will be in your portal profile once you are
cleared.
2. All fees must be paid via Remita from school portal.
3. Note that fees once paid cannot be refunded.
.Tuition Fees
1. Upon Screening and clearance, login to your profile in the school portal and download your school fees
invoice. Pay at any commercial bank branch or card payment USSD, internet Banking or wallet.
2. Login back to the school portal and confirm payment.
3. Register your courses online, download your school Course Registration Form.
4. Print a copy of CRF and your school fees payment receipts, submit in your department to complete your
registration.
5. Note that failure to complete registration within 2 weeks of official resumption date will lead to late
registration fine of ₦10,000 or in exceptional case forfeiture of your admission.
. Change of name during the course will not be entertained.
. For direct entry into NDI, candidates must have UTME scores acceptable to the Plateau State Polytechnic in addition to
meeting the institutions SSCE/GCE admission requirement. The Polytechnic will not entertain any request for change of
course.
. Please, note that all lectures start two weeks after official resumption date.
. Any alteration on this offer of admission letter renders it invalid.
. All Special NDII students should note the following conditions.
1. That all failed subjects would be treated as carry over
. All Remedial Science/Pre-NCE students are to note that they will only be admitted into NDI/NCE I after obtaining the
approved JAMB/UTME cut-off point in the correct subject combination and pass Remedial Science/Pre-NCE examination.
