DISEASE

This pertains to the subject mentioned above.

The COVID-19 Surveillance Quick Action Unit (CSQAU) is the unit tasked to develop
consolidated database and linelist of COVID-19 cases daily for public release and
communications, and as reference in situational reports with the Task Group in Strategic
Communications (TG-StratComm) chaired by Undersecretary Maria Rosario Singh-Vergeire.
In view of their functions, their office came up with the uniform guidelines for the proper
guidance of every patient who tested positive for COVID-19 disease for public dissemination.

Acting upon the directive of the CSQAU and Epidemiology Bureau (EB) to cascade such
guidelines, we send this notice to direct and request all licensed COVID-19 testing laboratories
to ensure that every patient who tests for COVID-19 in their facility will be uniformly provided
with the said guidelines and protocol. This is to protect the public and ascertain their strict
observance and compliance of the same.
