etc.

2. What is the use of video conferencing?


A video conference is a live meeting of two or more geographically
separated people, who use internet to transmit audio and video data. For
this, we need a video conferencing software, computer, microphone,
speakers and camera.

3. What are the various search techniques?


Search techniques help us to improve our searches on the search engine.
Various search techniques are:
a) Use specific nouns. Put the most important terms first in the search text.

b) Use quotation marks to create phrases so that search engine finds an
exact sequence of characters.
c) List all possible spellings
d) If the search is unsuccessful with one search engine, try another.

4. What do you mean by hotspot?


A hotspot is a wireless network that provides internet connections to mobile
computers and devices. Some hotspots enable unrestricted or open
access, and some require a password to connect.

Internet provides us different types of services. Some of the popular
services on the internet include:
a) Sharing photos on the web
b) Using social networking
c) Virtual meeting through video conferencing
d) E-commerce, E-banking

2. Write any two techniques to protect yourself from identity theft.


There are many techniques which can be used to protect ourselves from
identity theft:
a) Create a strong password for all the online accounts like e-mail, social
networking websites etc. and do not share your password with anyone.
b) You should avoid free, open wi-fi and hotspot. They are insecure and
criminals can easily steal your private information.
