torque and check it again after 50 hours.Re-
peat checks every subsequent 50 hours until it
has been tightened several times (with the
correct torque).
CAUTION
Deep discharge (more than 80% of battery's rated
capacity) will cause the battery life to shorten, which
is not covered by the warranty.
Recharge the battery in time.
Do not keep the battery fully discharged.
NOTE
When the power is turned on, all the indicator
lights on the multifunction monitor will light up
for a while.

Reverse current braking
The direction/acceleration handle brake acts
as an auxiliary brake, allowing the driver to ad-
just the amount of braking force depending on
the circumstances.
NOTE
It is recommended to use the direction/accel-
eration handle brake in smooth road condi-
tions to achieve optimum braking effective-
ness.
To operate the reverse current brake when
driving the truck (1), pull the drive direction
lever in the opposite direction. This will oper-
ate the reverse current brake. The strength
of the braking force depends on how far the
lever is pulled.
The forklift truck will stop if the lever handle is
released immediately after being pulled.
DANGER
In an emergency, do not use the reverse current
brake.Instead, release the foot switch or press the
parking brake button to make an emergency stop.

Transporting loads
Load centre distance and load capacity
Before lifting loads, the relationships between
load capacity, load centre distance and maxi-
mum lift height should be understood.
Load centre distance refers to the distance be-
tween the vertical plane of the fork arms and
the load centre of gravity (1).
NOTE
The centre of gravity is not necessarily found
at the centre of the load.
Load capacity refers to the weight of load that
can be safely lifted to a required height within
the given load centre distance.
NOTE
If the following occur, please reduce loads and
contact your local Linde dealer.
DANGER
Do not use the fork arms or pallet to lift a person.
Unless equipped with a work frame that matches the
design of the truck, the fork arms must not be used
to lift a person.Make sure the frame is tight and se-
cure if lifting with the frame is required.
Please contact your Linde dealer.
DANGER
People must not stand or walk underneath lifted
loads.
When stacking and unstacking, people must not
stand or walk underneath lifted loads.
WARNING
Extreme care must be taken when positioning the
fork arms by hand as they are very heavy.
NOTE
The load centre of gravity must be at the mid
point of the two fork arms.
Unstacking
Carefully drive the forklift truck to the stack.
Apply the parking brake.
Tilt the fork arms to the horizontal position.
Lift the fork arms to the required height and
align with the pallet or the load.

Tilt the fork arms backward to keep the load
stable.
Retract the lift mast to its full extent.
Carefully lower the load slightly above the
reach support legs.
Tilt the fork arms backward to their full ex-
tent.
Transporting loads
Drive forward to obtain better view.
During operation, the lift mast must be re-
tracted to its full extent, the fork arms must
be tilted backwards, and the load must face
the centre of the fork carriage or of the
block shelf. Lower the fork arms with loads
slightly above the reach support legs.
Slow down when cornering; sudden turns
may cause the vehicle to overturn.
If the ground is uneven or wet, or you have
poor visibility, slow down the forklift truck.
When operating on an incline, always travel
with the load facing uphill.
Never park the vehicle on an incline.
Do not drive sideways or turn in another di-
rection.
Transporting a load by suspending it from
ropes or chains may cause the vehicle to
rock sideways. Do not transport suspended
loads.
If anything blocks your view, have some-
body guide you.
Do not transport unstable loads.
Stacking
Carefully drive the forklift truck to the stack.
Apply the parking brake.
Tilt the fork arms to the horizontal position.
Lift the load slightly above the required
height.
Side-shift when necessary.
Move the lift mast forward.
Slowly lower the fork carriage until the load
is on the stack.
Retract the lift mast to its full extent.
Carefully lower the fork slightly above the
ground.
Tilt the fork arms backward.
DANGER
During stacking, do not attempt to cross the lift
mast to deal with obstructions to or interference
with fork arms or loads.
DANGER
Do not leave a forklift truck with lifted loads unat-
tended.
DANGER
The hoisting equipment must have enough hoisting
power.
Please refer to the identification plates of the forklift
truck and battery for hoisting power.
DANGER
It is strictly forbidden to walk underneath hoisted
loads.
Make sure there is no one in the way when hoisting a
forklift truck.

forklift by the overhead guard and the reach support
legs as shown in the illustration.
NOTE
Protect the belt from sharp points on the over-
head guard.
Towing procedure
DANGER
The power steering, hydraulic system and drive
system cannot work if the battery male connector is
removed.
When the drive wheels are lifted, the forklift truck can
only be braked by load wheels controlled by the hy-
draulic brake.
DANGER
Do not jack the forklift truck too high. Just lift the
wheels off the ground.
NOTE
If towing the forklift truck on an incline, speed
must be reduced to a minimum and chocks
should be kept to hand.
Mast
Lift mast function:
The fork carriage is lifted to the free-lift height
by the lift chain of the first-stage cylinder. The
second-stage cylinder lifts the inner lift mast,
whose lifting speed is two times that of the cyl-
inder as a result of the chain wheel's ef-
fect. The second-stage cylinder is fixed to the
movable lift mast middle.
DANGER
Make sure the support slide does not move accord-
ingly when the reach support is reaching and re-
tracting.
DANGER
The chain selected should match the lift mast
weight.
Keep in mind the maximum lift height.
