THE PRACTICE OF RESEARCH FOR ARCHITECTURAL LEARNERS IN HIGHER

EDUCATION SHAPING THE ARCHITECTURAL SENIOR PROJECTS

My thesis Statement

In my point of view the abstract of this article is on point because of the right amount of data and
evidence it gathered. The paper aims to teach students on how to write a research paper for
architectural learners. What is their plan on how to teach this to students? Well, they focused first
on the advantages and disadvantages of using research methodologies at higher education, and
then they created a new effective method on how the learners will study architecture in a way
where it is effective and successful. The author gathered reliable data and evidence by
researching references and for them to get an idea from it. For me the evidence they gathered is
just right because it doesn’t lack information. They gave citations and the sites where they got all
their references and, they include the authors of those references. The main claim of this article is
that Learners can practice conducting their research analysis about architecture senior projects by
finding different aspects of knowledge. Yes, there is in fact evidence used to support the claim.
For me learners can’t create a research paper without thinking or checking every point of view, if
you stayed on just one specific perspective, you would not get anywhere. The evidence here is
they experimented some of the ideas and it is focused on the advantages and disadvantages of the
research methodologies. The purpose of the author is obviously teaching learners how to create a

research paper about architecture academically or in higher education by telling them to change
their point of views and expand their critical thinking when it comes to researching.

My conclusion here is that the author gave us learners a guide for us to make our research worth
reading. It is worth my time, and I like every single part of it. I would share this article to other
people for them to be informed about the context of this research.
