Question #15

The last successful moment I had was on August 19th, 2022. That was the day my band
and I presented our long-awaited full-length album; “A World to Forget” to the public for
the first time. It took place at Bar l’Hémisphère-Gauche in Little Italy in Montreal. At the
site we had a merchandise stand with t-shirts and stickers and we thought it would be a
regular show like our others and only 50 people would come. Turns out we sold 100
tickets at the door that night and 50 people had pre-ordered their tickets online. There was
a grand total of 150 (more or less) people that showed up at our show. 150 different
human beings watch and listen to us play our album from start to finish live. We sold out
our merch in no-time and the bar had to close its doors to newcomers for it was too
jammed packed. We got off the stage after 1h15 minutes of playing to a sea of applauds
and good comments. It really felt good.
Since then, we’ve acquired a few thousand followers and streams on our social media
platforms such as Spotify and Instagram. We’ve also been talked about in various music
magazines and blog pages.
