M|YEAHH, we are classmates from the English 2 class.

C|Im so glad to finally meet you in real life.

M|What are you studying¿

C|Well, right now im studying for the test, jk-joking but career wise im studying public accounting,
can you imagine how hard it is to study public accounting.

M|oh really¿ I haven’t thought about that, but it is good to know.

M|And what classes are you taking this trimester¿

C|well, you see this trimester im only taking one class which is English, because I work moday
through Sunday, and I go out late like around 8pm so English class was the only only one I could
take with my schedule, and I also started going to the gym which is really hard because involves a
lot of work, but next trimester im hoping I will have more time to take more classes.

M|Girl, I can understand that.

C|What about you m¿

M|Well, Carolina. Thanks for asking me.

ROLE-PLAY #1: MAKING PLANS

C|Hi, whats up, M¿ So, next week Hocus Pocus is coming out, can you imagine that¿ So amazing
the Andersons sisters are back! So are we going or what¿

M|I don’t really know what hocus pocus is about nor the andersons sisters, but it sounds good so
okay lets goo! I have nothing else to do so.

C|What is better for you cab|taxi or a bus¿

M|Well C to be honest with you, I don’t really do buses as they are always late, so I think we
should take a cab|taxi.

C|That’s fine, I prefer taxis aswell, so are we splitting the bill¿

M|Yeah, no problem.

C|Don’t forget about it, next sunday at 8pm okay¿

M|Sounds good to me, C.

ROLE-PLAY #3 VACATIONS VIDEO CALL

C|Oh my God I have to call mixi right now, she is out on vacations with her family on roatan,
hopefully she will bring me something cfrom her trip1!

C|So how is everything on roatan¿

M|Hi Carolina, everything is looking so good right now, the beach is so nice, and the waters are so
blue and the sand is so white, and the sea flora is also very nice to look at.

C|And what have you been doing out there¿ I’ve heard that theres a lot dolphins, white face
mokeys, and some others, is it true have you seen them¿

M|Well the thing is that I got a package that did not include the monkey, to see the monkeys you
would need to pay 10$ and other 10$ to take a picturr with them.

M| but with my family we did snorket they take pictures of you underwater doing snorket which is
so cool, you should come try it out someday!

C|All of that seems so good mixi, I will totally feel like going someday1! I hope you bring me a
souvenir please, I have been wanting from roatan for so long! I hope your vacation lasts long and
you get to enjoy it more.

M| Thank u Carolina, I will bring u something, and what are you up to¿

C|Not much watching noche de gala on channel 5, and eating some chips.
