I. Spiritual Transformation
Our relationship with God does not simply consist of a one-time confession
of faith in Christ Jesus. In the same way that a marriage is much more than
simply the wedding ceremony, our life in Christ does not end on our day of
salvation.
The moment we surrender our lives to God, we are a new creation (2 Cor.
5:17).
We are immediately united as one in love, through faith, with God Almighty.
However, this spiritual relationship must be nurtured and developed in or-
der to grow. (Transformed-metamorphosed)
Jesus Christ taught us only one thing for a transformed life/rapture ready
life to happen - Discipleship.
Before Jesus ascended to heaven the great work He left us with is ONLY
discipleship.
Matthew 28:19-20
19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them
to [h]follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you [i]always,
to the end of the age.”
After you are born again - you can right away can tell others about your en-
counter with Jesus Christ. You are unstoppable. Your encounter is your
greatest encounter of all encounters. You were dead in sin - and became
alive in Christ. This is your best time to learn about Jesus more - learning to
follow everything He has commanded daily - this is discipleship.
Can you disciple yourself? Jesus could just have dropped scriptures in
doorsteps all over the planet and commanded us - disciples yourselves. In-
stead, those who followed and experienced Jesus were given instruction to
disciple all nations.
2. Homelife
Husband - a husband functions well when his wife honors him well.
Mother/wife
Wife - a wife loved well functions well
Children
Psalm 127:4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,
So are the children of one’s youth.
Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them;
They shall not be ashamed,
But shall speak with their enemies in the gate.
· They must be aimed and given direction; they will not find direction on their
own.
2 Timothy 2:15
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to
be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Peter 1:10
Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure,
for if you do these things you will never stumble;
The best growth zones are always out of our comfort zones. Edmund Chan.
