Scales 1-4 comespond to mutile diagnoses because of
‘overaps among DSM cir and among YSR items rated
35 very consistent with diagnoses. The Manual fr the
‘ASEBA SchookAgo Fors & Profies provides Cotas of the
Scales, scoring nstrtons, and applestions
To compute scale scores:
(1) Copy tm scores from the YSR inthe spaces beside
the tems beneath the prof (cardboardtomplates are
available that you place over the YSR to indicate the scale
Gn which enter each tem score).
(2)Sum tho 1 and 2 sores to obtain the TOTAL score for
each scale,
(3) Inthe column above the scale coesponding tothe
yout's gender, orde tho number coresponding t0 the
TOTAL seae forthe scale.
(4) Connect the ccled numbers to form a profile.
For each scale score, you can see the coresponding
percentile for the normative sample at the left and the T
‘score atthe right. Scores above the top broken line are in
the clinical range, indicating more problems than were
‘reported or 97% of the normative sample. Scores between
the broken lines are in the borderine range (93rd-97th
percentile of the normative sample). For applications of the
DsWoriented scales, see the Manual for the ASEBA
