0 THE RESOLUTION OF NATIONAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP POLICY

5.1 Fostering an Entrepreneurial Culture across all Segments of Malaysian Society.

Cultivating entrepreneurship requires a long -term commitment in early adoption of

an entrepreneurial attitude is important, and the best way to achieve this is through
education. Activating children at the primary, secondary and post-secondary levels, as well
as society at large, will help develop talents with critical thinking abilities, entrepreneurial
traits and mentality. This results in more entrepreneurs who are creative, imaginative, risk
averse and eager to explore growth prospects. It is important for the country to develop as
many quality and trained entrepreneurs as possible to ensure that the entrepreneurial
environment can be enhanced and strengthened. Efforts to cultivate comprehensively and
instilled in Malaysians so that they understand the rewards and advantages of
entrepreneurship. To be a successful entrepreneur they must be mentally and physically
prepared for this because in business the challenges that will be faced are very difficult and
full of various obstacles.

So, this culture should be nurtured with the aim of making creativity, innovation, risk
taking and the ability to act on opportunities that arise as the basis for developing an
entrepreneurial culture. When becoming entrepreneurs, they should use the opportunities
present if the opportunity can benefit their business, for example when National
Entrepreneur Day 2022 is held, the program is attended by many small entrepreneurs so
that they can promote their business to the public, a platform provided by the Dewan
Perniagaan Usahawan Kecil Malaysia (DPUKM) can increase Small to Medium Enterprises
(SMEs) as well as Small to Medium Industries (SMIs) for a better future as well as
encourage more youths to become entrepreneurs and job creators in the government's
efforts to revitalize the country's economic sector, especially after the world was plagued by
a covid pandemic.

To develop a critical mass of entrepreneurs, the government should increase

entrepreneurial outreach and awareness programmes at the national, regional, state, and
local levels in collaboration with all stakeholders, including the Malaysian Cooperative
Commission, Malaysian Cooperative Institute, SME Corp Malaysia, TEKUN Nasional,
National Institute of Entrepreneurship, Bank Rakyat, SME Bank, UDA Holdings Berhad,
Perbadanan Nasional Berhad, Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia, and National Institute of
Entrepreneurship. The relational component of the growth-oriented approach is more
obvious. This focuses on the company's entrepreneurial leadership. Its goal is to learn about
their networks and how to help them grow locally, nationally, and worldwide. The most
crucial factor is the business's management team's strategic objective. Companies that want
to expand require help interacting with consumers, suppliers, and other "actors" in the
ecosystem that can help them. Ministers of the government may play an essential role in
promoting entrepreneurship and innovation. Their job is to make sure that government
departments and agencies are focusing on the right issues and developing successful
policies.
