Loading user parameters

In the service pages put the machine into parameter mode. The button turns red.

In PPC STATUS NUMBER we require a number 2.


If it is a 400 number then press Error reset.
If it goes to 9 press it again.

When it is 2, enter the required drive number into AXIS OR DRIVE NUMBER.
If left at zero all drives will be writen too.
Press LOAD USER PARAMETERS.
A number 1 should appear in AXIS PARAMETER STATUS in the selected drive
position from the right.

When this is done turn parameter mode off. The button goes green.
Watch the PPC STATUS NUMBER.
It should go to 7.
If it doesn’t then press ERROR RESET.
Again if it shows 9 press the ERROR RESET again.
Loading drive defaults

In the service pages put the machine into parameter mode. The button turns red.

In PPC STATUS NUMBER we require a number 2.


If it is a 400 number then press Error reset.
If it goes to 9 press it again.

When it is 2, enter the required drive number into AXIS OR DRIVE NUMBER.
If left at zero all drives will be writen too.
Press LOAD DRIVE DEFAULTS.
You should see the button change when you press it.

When this is done turn parameter mode off. The button goes green.

Turn the machine off at the isolator.


Wait 30 seconds and turn the machine back on.

Reset the safety circuit.

The drive that has been ‘Defaulted’ should show ‘RL’ on its display.
Press the Esc key on the drive. RL should disappear.

Next reload user parameters to the drive as described on the previous sheet.

Then if required zero any cyliders or leadscrews affected by the default setting.
