The Televic GSP is a separately-managed company of Televic. In 2019, Televic acquired GSP
Sprachtechnologie GmbH, a German company that provides on-board Passenger Information
Systems for trains, trams, and metros. Televic GSP operates globally with offices in Belgium,
Germany, the USA, Bulgaria, and China and has three main divisions: Passenger Information
Systems, Condition-Based Maintenance, and Business Line Services.

The company's history dates back to 1946 when Urbain Van Hulle founded Televic Electronics in
Roeselare, Belgium. In the face of growing competition from multinational corporations in the
consumer electronics sector, Van Hulle decided to focus solely on professional systems. In 1966,
Televic expanded its product line to include professional audio equipment such as loudspeakers,
mixers, and Public Address systems for use on stage, which can be found in many theaters
throughout Europe.

In 1998, Lieven Danneels and Thomas Verstraeten❑2 took over as owners and joint CEOs and
transformed Televic into a global firm with plants in Bulgaria, China, and the USA. In 2016, the first US
plant opened in Sacramento, California, and Televic manages all its American operations from there.

In 2019, Televic acquired GSP Sprachtechnologie, a leading provider of passenger information

systems for trains, streetcars, and metros in Germany, solidifying its position as a market leader in
passenger information systems in the Western world. In 2023, the subsidiary company GSP
Sprachtechnologie changed its legal name to Televic Rail GmbH.
In 2019, Televic takes over GSP Sprachtechnologie, Germany's leading manufacturer of passenger
information systems for trains, streetcars and metros. In this way, Televic strengthens its position as
one of the market leader for passenger information systems in the western world ❑3.

In 2023, the “daughter” company GSP Sprachtechnologie changes its legal name to Televic Rail
GmbH❑4 .
