Academic Project
Project Title: Advanced Traffic Control System Using Barrier Gates
 Role : Team Lead
 Duration : 4 Months
 Team Size :4
The Project is about controlling the Traffic based on the traffic density using
Arduino mega, IR Sensors, RFID chips, Barrier gates and other Electronic components.
a) IR Sensors – Measures the Traffic density.
b) RFID chips – Contains a Receiver and Transmitter to detect the vehicles.
The main objective of the project is to control the traffic automatically by using barrier gates
to avoid signal jumping, minor road accidents, and to allow the proper flow of vehicles based
on traffic density.

Extra-Curricular Activities

 Participated in Workshop on “PCB design and Fabrication” Organized by Siddharth
Institute of Engineering Technology, Puttur. Got certification for designing a Circuit
board.
 Given Paper Presentation on “Fuel from Waste” at Siddharth Institutions.

of Engineering and Technology, Puttur.
