I will sing a song called ‘Snowman’, which is sung by Sia. Her full name is Sia Kate Isobelle.

She released
the song "Snowman" as holiday song on her album titled Everyday Is Christmas. This album was released
on November 17, 2017. But this song is the only one on that album. Then, the song reached No. 3 on
'Holiday Digital Songs' Billboard after returning the popularity of Tik Tok in December, 2020. This song
was shown by her to a ‘snowman’ what she imagined for her true lover.

Lyrics
Don't cry, snowman, not in front of me
Who'll catch your tears if you can't catch me, darling
If you can't catch me, darling
Don't cry, snowman, don't leave me this way
A puddle of water can't hold me close, baby
Can't hold me close, baby

Reff : I want you to know that I'm never leaving

'Cause I'm Mrs. Snow, 'til death we'll be freezing
Yeah, you are my home, my home for all seasons
So come on, let's go

Let's go below zero and hide from the sun

I love you forever where we'll have some fun
Yes, let's hit the North Pole and live happily
Please don't cry no tears now, it's Christmas, baby
My snowman and me, My snowman and me, Baby

Don't cry, snowman, don't you fear the sun

Who'll carry me without legs to run, honey
Without legs to run, honey

Don't cry, snowman, don't you shed a tear

Who'll hear my secrets if you don't have ears, baby
If you don’t have ears baby
Back to Reff

Synopsis
In the lyrics, Sia begins by asking the snowman not to cry. For a snowman made of snow, crying will turn it
into melted snow. In the second stanza, she relates this idea to singing it so as not to be afraid of the sun. In
most part of songs, the sun represents life, hope and better days. She confesses that she will not leave the
snowman even if the seasons change. Snowman, in a practical sense, only last through the winter, which is
very temporary. So actually this song is addressed to her partner in real life. This song has a message that we
should face each day with happiness and a smile, not with tears or despair.
