1. Introduction

With the ongoing economic crisis, Job security has been a concern for many. However,
employment laws and its environment vary from country. There are countries that are known to
be the most desirable country to be employed at whilst vis-à-vis. Moreover, in order to decide
which country has the best work environment there are many factors that can be taken into
consideration to understand the challenges they impose such as Work-life Balance, Health
Benefits, cost of living, happiness index and etc. Thus, in this analysis a variant of factors will be
analyzed to understand the three most desired countries to be employed at and challenges
imposed.
2. The Most common Destinations sought out for new career path
Netherlands
The Netherlands is another excellent option for working abroad and is a preferred location
among expats due to its high standard of living and work-life balance. The Netherlands may be a
safe country with excellent social services and a strong economy, contributing to its ranking as
the fifth happiest country in the world in 2021. Additionally, as research and academia are
flourishing in the Netherlands, foreigners will find plenty of opportunities to work in these fields.
The Netherlands is a fantastic place to get job in IT or energy because of its emphasis on clean
energy and a sustainable environment (Kuijpers et al., 2022).

Having an employment in the Netherlands necessitates corporate support for non-European

nationals, and the cost of living is somewhat high, making it typically a goal for career-minded
general experts and not as suitable for temporary or short-term employment. In spite of this, full-
time managers in the Netherlands are guaranteed at least 20 vacation days year, a special
payment, 16 weeks of maternity leave, and a host of additional advantages. This suggests that a
healthy work-life balance has both a social and a legitimate emphasis (Murchison et al., 2022).

Denmark
Denmark, which has a small but open economy, has a long history of addressing the problems
caused by globalization and integration, and it has demonstrated the ability to enact the necessary
changes to support both a large welfare state and a healthy economy. Denmark is in a good
position in comparison when it comes to adaptability and the approval of political reforms to
address issues, albeit occasionally delaying and surrendering such changes. The nation's
adaptability is influenced by a tradition of open dialogue, involvement, and broad-based change
objectives. The relationship, known as "social capital," between distinctive on-screen
personalities and society groups has also been an important factor to consider. (EURES, 2022).

The country encourages an excellent work-life balance, has strong social welfare resources,
including professional child care and free healthcare. With the high standard of living and robust
economy. The cost of living in Denmark is the highest on this list, but normal salaries are too
high, and less work hours as well (EURES, 2022).
Canada
With 25 annual vacation days, parental leave, and the most notable minimum wage in North
America, Canada is a progressive country with a long list of mandated worker perks. Canada is a
fantastic place to work and build investment assets because the average salary is high and the
cost of living is quite reasonable. In addition, Canada has one of the safest borders in the world
and the 14th-best-performing economy in the world. Canada's largest industry (by revenue) is
healthcare, and the country has made incredible investments in restorative advancements,
including the disclosure of penicillin, the invention of the first pacemaker in the world, and the
disclosure of HAART treatment as HIV anticipation (Murchison et al., 2022).

In Canada, managers frequently provide their staff non-monetary rewards including reduced
fitness facility fees, extended wellness benefits, child healthcare, and flexible plans. Since there
are many job openings in Canada in a variety of industries, particularly in IT, research,
healthcare, and energy, it's a fantastic place to find temporary employment, start a career, or for
young adults to work as international assistants. (Zenefits Team, 2022).
3. Theories to Analyze the opportunities and challenges
Happiness Index Ranking
Achieving work-life balance is a difficult goal that has gotten more difficult over time. However,
a few countries have gone above and beyond expectations by promoting generous paid time off
policies, shorter workweeks, and other advantages that help their residents find a happy medium.
Eight factors were examined, including the number of hours worked in a year, paid time off,
parental leave policies, and the happiness index for each nation ( TITUS, 2022).

In Denmark, the need for belief and collective values are socially and objectively emphasized.
This encourages people who are creating a strong social fabric to care about one another. Many
enthusiasts refer to The Netherlands as the Holland, which has a score of 7.464 out of 10. Due to
its liberalism and astoundingly high level of societal debasement, the Netherlands withdrew from
the race for the fourth place.

Work Life Balance & Work Benefits

Europe is renowned for its flexible travel policies and favorable working conditions. The
Working Time Order of the European Union guarantees EU professionals at least 20 paid
vacation days annually. Some European nations demand more significant vacation time; for
instance, the United Kingdom, France, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Luxembourg, and Sweden all
demand 25 or more paid vacation days per year. According to OECD research, taking extra time
off need not result in a lower output. On the other hand, Europe is home to some of the countries
with the highest GDP per hour of labor. (OCED, 2022).

Health Benefits
It may seem harsh to have health insurance that is individually tailored, but it will protect people
during these restorative times. The specific therapeutic administrations that are covered by an
arrangement will change again depending on whether it covers healing centers. There are
strategies provide limitless coverage for inpatient psychiatric care, which can be helpful if you're
under a lot of stress since you need to find a good work-life balance. An additional things
technique would be more appropriate if the subject is brain research administrators. Some
wellness centers may also include wellness programs that can include mental wellbeing (Kisi
Team, 2022).
4. Recommendations
The current association of the work showcase no longer directly results in the socially desired
outcomes, primarily as a result of trends like technological advancements, globalization, an
aging population, and people's shifting work preferences. Changes in the nature and substance of
work as well as transitions in work between sectors are examples of these developments.

It is crucial to have laws governing employment that increase individual security while still
ensuring sufficient company mobility. In addition, the administration worries of social pressures
may rise if the job market remains unchanged. From a tax and social security perspective, there
should be an even playing field with regard to contract types. In that context, the government
should plan to roll out the self-employed charge conclusion and provides disability safeguards
for self-employed professionals.
5. Conclusion
It can be said there are many elements that come into play in deciding the prosperity of a country
in an employment perspective. However it can be understood there are certain indication that
help guide one to understand the employment environment in a country. Thus, the happiness
index, work life balance, statutory benefits offered can be taken to measure the aforementioned.
Thus, through the above analysis it can be noted as Netherlands, Denmark and Canada are in the
top of most desired countries to find employment.
