The drawworks package with two D.C. electric motors requires minimum space. The simplified control panel gives the driller effortless command of every operation. Transmission The NE-12A drawworks transmission is equipped with dual input drives each connected to an electric motor. The two-speed transmission coupled with high and low drives at the ‘drum, gives four hoisting ratios to supplement the infinite speed range possible with the electric motors. NE-1 Electric Drawwor! Brakes Brakes are a full 325° wrap. Brake flanges are bolted to the main drum and are of the! circulating water cooled type. Their compound equalizing and self energizing design provides max! imum holding power with little manual effort. Pro sion has been make to cradle mount an auxiliary brake on the side opposite the driller. Lubrication All chain drives in the drawworks are oll pressure lubricated. They are enclosed in an oiltight housing. Main shaft and sprockets are pressure oil lubricated.
