SUBJECT: Tank fit for fuel transportation 10.000l capacity, complying with ONML Norms,
installed on Astra HD9 42.38, 4200 wheelbase
Tank for fuel transportation having the following features:

- Total capacity 10.000l approx.
- n.2 transversal anti-sloshing baffle
- Geometrical capacity: 10.400l approx.
- Double-D section (suitable section in order to have the lowest barycenter possible)
- Dished heads welded by overlapping to the shell
- Made in steel sheet S235JR, 4 mm thick both for shells and dished heads.
- Semi-automatic arc-welding, by M.A.G. system. The welding process is approved.
- Expansion tank on the top of the tank

Pumping unit
Positive displacement pump, for diesel distribution, 400l/min. capacity at 4 bar maxi., driven
by the vehicle PTO through the hydraulic system.
Positive displacement meter with mechanical head, partial measuring at 5 digits and total
measuring at 8 digits, complete with degasser and aircheck valve, 300l/min capacity.
Automatic gun, 120l/min capacity with automatic hose reel equipped with 20m of 1’’ hose.
Stainless steel lockable case placed on the rear side of the truck to contain the pumping
unit.

- Manhole with bolted cover, diameter 500, with 5 effects safety valve, breather, loading
hatch with quick opening/closing cover

Supporting structure
Counterframe in carbon steel highly resistant to torsions.
The counterframe is solidly fixed on the truck chassis in compliance with the bodybuilder
directives.
Supporting saddles with steel tie rods suitable for fitting the tank onto the chassis. A rimmed
rubber strip is placed between saddle and tank to ensure the tank stability
Access and safety devices
Fixed protections: Access ladder to manhole, with anti-slip walkway and manually operated
foldable safety hand-rail
Unit earthing
Bronze plaits to ensure the electrical continuity between tank and vehicle chassis
Earthing plate
Regulatory installation of electrostatic charges with brass earthing plug
