MEHNDI

Mehndi : pre-wedding celebration when the bride has the red-orange mehndi
"stain" (henna) applied to her palms, back of hands, and feet.
: for guests (men, women, children), it can be put on palm and back of
hands
: it takes 15-30 minutes to dry (just peel it off, don’t use water)

Haldi : turmeric, oil, and water are applied to both the bride and groom by
