Power window timer
The power window timer function enables to open or
close power windows within 45 seconds after the starter
switch is turned off. The BCM measures 45 seconds, and
instructs the power window control unit to stop the power
window motor operation. When any door is opened
within 45 seconds, the BCM also instructs the power
window control unit to stop the power window motor
operation.
Self-diagnosis function
The self-diagnosis function of the BCM is set to the main
body of the BCM. If each function of the BCM does not
operate correctly, it performs trouble diagnosis and sets
DTCs.

Lock the all doors with key lock or remote controller key
to turn ON the indication light due to the engine hood.
After about 10 seconds, the indication light blinks slowly,
and the anti theft system operates.
The conditions to operate the anti theft system alert
When trying to open a door or an engine hood forcibly
without using a key.
When unlocking a door with door lock knob.
When the engine hood release handle is operated.
SRS-interlocked door unlock
Read SRS operation signals to release door lock
automatically if a collision accident occurs when the
vehicle is running.
Interior light activation
The BCM activates the interior light. The interior light
goes on when the dome light is at DOOR position, any
door is opened, or requested from the keyless entry 1. BCM
function.
Or, when each room light is turned off, the afterglow Receiver unit location
function operates. The receiver unit is installed within the instrument panel.
The conditions to operate the afterglow function
When a door is closed and the starter switch is turned on.
When a door is opened while a key is inserted.
When a key is pulled out while a door is closed.
