 High costs incurred in implementation-The costs accrued when implementing ERP


are greater than the initial costs. So, the expense of personalization is everything. The
implementation cost will increase as the cost of customization does. Therefore, you
need to be cautious about potential costs that could damage your budget.
 Employee transfers and layoffs- Sometimes it becomes hard to implement the ERP
because some of the main stakeholders and contributors might have been transferred.
 Insufficient training- The executors of the implementation process might not have
received the proper training to drive the project forward making it hard to find the
necessary solutions required to finish the implementation of the ERP.
 Little implementation time and tight deadlines- The implementation process might
require more time than the time it got allocated during the initiation process making it
difficult to meet the deadline.
 Inadequate ERP resources-ERP resources are very important in the implementation
process, in case of a falter in the collection of the right resources, the whole process
would come to a halt. Finding the right ERP vendors can help solve this challenge.
