good friend of mine informed that you are looking for Science teacher for the opening of the
school year 2020-2021.

I passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers on Secondary Level last September 29, 2019
held at Tacloban City right after graduating from college on June 11, 2019. I completed my
Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education major in Biological Science at Abuyog Community
College.

My only experience in teaching was my internship in Abuyog National High School in Sto.
Niño, Abuyog, Leyte. I was able to gain more knowledge and was able to broaden my skills in
teaching in the said institution. Though I don’t have years of teaching experience yet, I believe
that I am ready to take the responsibilities of a teacher because we have been extensively trained
during college through the series of lectures and seminars I attended.

I decided to send my application in your school after some colleagues told me that you give a
bunch of opportunities to your teachers and that you are very supportive of their professional
endeavors by providing professional development workshops and training in and out of the
school. I know that your school has the best aspects and I believe choosing what is the best can
bring out the best in people like me who want to improve continuously.

Attached in this letter is my resume which you can use for reference.

I am hoping that you will give me an opportunity to have my first teaching experience in your
reputed school.
