INTRODUCTION
At India Post Payment Bank, we believe that the a nation can grow
when every citizen has an opportunity to prosper, regardless of their
way of life With simple diverse and growth-oriented offerings, IPPB
aims to provide every household in India an access to efficient banking
services and enable them to become financially secure and empowered
Indian Post Payment Bank (IPPB) was setup under the
Department of Post, Ministry of Communication with 100% equity
owned by Government of India. IPPB was launched as a pilot project on
30 January 2017 in Ranchi (Jharkhand) and Raipur (Chhattisgard), with
the objective of being present across India by the FY 2018-2019. IPPB
has expanded its strength across Indian covering post offices, through a
network of 650 IIPB branches/controlling offices, working on a hub and
spoke model

Bank of Baroda (BOB) is an Indian public sector bank headquartered in


Vododara. It is second largest public sector bank in India after State
Bank of India, with 132 million customers, a total business of US$218
billion, and a global presence of 100 overseas offices. Based on 2019
data, it is ranked 1145 on Forbes Global 2000
REVIEW OF LITERATURE

1 Reena Agarwal, (2016) has observed in her research payment bank


will digitalise the existing banking sector and will contribute in financial
inclusion. Payments banks will ease the banking and will make banking
faster and easy for customers.
2 Meena Kumari, (2017) has highlighted the problem and challenges in
achieving financial inclusion. She also discussed need and objective of
introduction of Indian Post Payment Bank and its role in financial
inclusion
3 G. Sabitha Srinivas, (2017) observed that opening new branch in every
village is economical and payment bank provide banking services on
digital platform which is cost effective. Payment play vital role in
building cashless economy
4 Saji Thazhungal Govindan Nair (2021) Among many technical
available today for evaluation the financial performance of banks,
compared to traditional tools, the CAMELS rating model of financial
analysis considered more efficient in laying down clear risk assessment
system, developing and monitoring quality performance, identification

Research problems
The research has taken the awareness of India post payment Bank
System on India to words banking service and national service. In last
year Indian post has been installed the ATM services, doors step service
etc…,
Banking sector play a vital role in the economy growth of India its help
the economy a lot of survive or immunevarious national or global
economy crises When the global recession had affected the banking
system across the world Indian’s financial system could sustain well

Research objectives
1 To know the awareness about Indian Post office payment bank
2 To discuss the core activities carried by the Indian post payment bank
3 To study Financial Performance of Bank of Baroda
4 To study Valuable suggestions to Maximise the financial performance
of the bank

Data sources & Method


1 Primary Data
The primary data will be collected through survey on the basis of
responses
2 Secondary data
The secondary data refers to the data which is already exists.
The data will be collected through magazines, books, internet ,
journals etc.
Sampling Procedure

applied to ensure the representation of all segments of other society
3 Sample Size :- For this study, questionnaires were distribution among
100 customers obtain useful 75 response out of 250 useful response
have been receive

2 Supervisor/ Management

UTILITY OF RESEARCH
Provide the rationale for the research, the research objectives, the
proposed method for data collection and recording formats and/
questionnaires and interview guides

LIMITATIONS OF THE RESEARCH


The major barrier in conducting the survey are :
1 Wide range of data could not be collected a scope of study is small
2 The response of respondents can be biased and objective due to time
limit
