    FORMAT OF UNDERTAKING FOR EMPLOYEES UNDER NPS

    “I understand and accept that Government servants joining the


    service of the State Government on or after 01 st February, 2005 shall not be
    governed by the existing Assam Services (Pension) Rules, 1969 and orders
    issued there under from time to time and that their pension and other
    retirement benefits will be governed by a set of New Pension Rules, which are
    formulated in the line with the Contributory Pension Scheme of Government of
    India and notified by the State Government vide O.M. No. BW.7/2008/Pt./40,
    Dated: 06th October, 2009”.
