Introduction:
Homeostasis is a process that helps living organisms keep their internal environment constant. But what happens when homeostasis is lost? Today we will investigate what happens when homeostasis in regards to water, is lost.

PA RT 2

Part 1
- Prepare an onion cell wet mount. - Use only water. - On medium or high power draw the onion cells you can observe.

Part 2
- Keep the onion cells in focus on medium or high power. - Add a couple of drops of salt water next to the cover slip. - Observe what happens, this may take 3-4 minutes. - Draw the changes to the onions cells you observed.

- Keeping the onion cells in focus on medium or high power. - Use a paper towel to draw away salt water. - Add a couple of drops of water next to the cover slip. - Observe what happens, this may take 3-4 minutes. - Draw the changes to the onions cells you observed.
