SUMMARY
IN
The chapter begins when the sun is going down,
Victor finds himself creating a second monster,
this time female.
As the hours pass, he begins to consider the
possibility that this new creation along with the
other monster unleashes a series of unfortunate
events and misfortunes. And in a moment of rage
and guilt, he destroys half of his new creation.
The monster, who was watching him, enraged
promises revenge on Victor's wedding night with
Elizabeth.

The next night, Henry contacts Victor informing


him to continue their journey.

Frankenstein took a few days to organize his


things and when he left, he decided to throw the
remains of his creation into the water. He then
took a boat to return to his house and on it he fell
asleep.
Upon awakening, he discovered that the winds
would not allow him to return home, and he
contemplated the possibility of dying at sea.
Fortunately, the winds changed and he managed
to reach the shores of a city. There, he was
charged with murder.
