Wear N95 mask – ensure seal is

proper and has no air leakage by
1. Put on shoe cover – optional

4. Put on long sleeved isolation

3. Put on disposable hood
gown, tie ribbons both neck and
waist at the back of gown

5. Put on plastic apron 6. Put on inner layer nitrile gloves, tuck

gloves below sleeves of isolation

 Doffing of PPE

Doffing should be done plastic apron by breaking
anteroom,
Hand hygiene with alcohol rub should be performed before and after each step.

1. Take of latex gloves – pinch the 2. Remove the plastic apron by

palm of glove and remove tearing the neck strap.
Ensure clean gloves do not get in
contact with contaminated surface
of latex gloves.

3. Remove isolation gown by tearing neck tie – to roll gown forward inside out, without
touching the outside of the gown.
4. Remove the face shield 5. Remove hood by pinching the top
and pulling it forward and down

6. Remove N95 in same manner by 7. Remove shoe covers one by one – if

pinching the front of mask wearing – optional

8. Remove nitrile gloves

Ensure handwashing is done

after doffing completed.
