MDR Series

Multi-channel HD and SD Digital Receiving

System with Diversity Reception

The MDR is a Modular Diversity Receive system, which may be equipped to

simultaneously receive multiple RF / video channels from a common scheme of up to 8
antennas. Each receiver operates using 2 or 4 way Maximum Ratio Combining diversity
reception technology, coupled with ASI packet switching, for optimum performance.
The MDR is particularly suited for receiving from multiple wireless cameras or links on
TV OB sites, multi-car "on-board", or city centre central receive ENG applications.

Each receiver may use SD or HD video decoding. Comprehensive control and signal
monitoring is provided by PC GUI via TCP/IP interface. The multi-channel system
occupies 3U rack space. A 1U rack unit is available for single channel applications.
The MDR is available with the choice of COFDM DVB-T,
Flyaway multi-channel receive
or ISDB-T demodulation (with Time Interleaving FEC).
