Government through the Social Service has distributed basic food
packages in Meli Village, Baebunta District. The delivery of the basic
food packages was carried out by the Secretary of the Social Service
Office, Mursalim and the Head of the Division. Social Services &
Rehabilitation Ida Machmud was accompanied by Meli Village officials.
The aid is a joint effort to help the flood victims of the Meli River.
The assistance of basic food packages was distributed to distribution
points in Meli Village as many as 16 packages for 16 houses located
around the Meli river flow. It is hoped that the assistance provided can
ease the burden of the flood victims and make the best possible use of
it.

distributes donations for flood and landslide victims in Melli Village,

The first news , The District Level Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur'an
(MTQ) in Baebunta District will soon be opened by the Regent of North
Luwu, on February 5, 2022, in the Salassa Village Square. To invigorate
the spirit of MTQ and enliven this biennial religious event, all Regional
Apparatuses of the Lutra Regency Government are asked to install MTQ
banners in strategic places in the North Luwu region.
The MTQ XI at the North Luwu Regency level in Baebunta Sub-
district is planned to last for five days, from 5 – 9 February 2022. All
participants from 15 sub-districts throughout North Luwu Regency are
ready to show their skills in this biennial religious event. The MTQ
competition will be centered on the Main Stage in Salassa Field.
