Apple is an American multinational company that designs and produces
electronic equipment and software. Among the company's best-known
hardware products are Macintosh computers, the iPod, the iPhone, and the
iPad. Apple software includes the Mac OS X operating system, the iTunes
Media Browser, the iLife suite (creativity and multimedia software), the
iWork suite (productivity software), Final Cut Studio, an audio suite
professional, film industry software products and Logic Studio, a series of
audio tools.
The company operates more than 250 own stores in nine countries, thousands
of distributors (including premium distributors or Apple Premium Resellers)
and an online store (available in several countries) where its products are
sold and technical advice is provided.
