MANAGEMENT STUDENTS ATTITUDE TOWARDS

ENTREPRENEURSHIP/BEING A ENTREPRENEUR
INTRODUCTION:
Researchers have introduced many attempts in identifying the factors
affecting entrepreneurship attitudes among students in general; for example,
Fayolle and Gailly (2015) studied the influence of Entrepreneurship Education
Programs (EEPs) on participants’ attitudes and intention toward
entrepreneurship; they found that EEPs effects were more marked when
participants had less previous entrepreneurial exposure, whereas significant
effects were highlighted when students had been previously significantly
exposed to entrepreneurship.
Another research has revealed the effect of specific benefits for the
students derived from the entrepreneurship education program (Sánchez, 2013).
Also, Volery et al. (2013) concluded that entrepreneurship education has a
positive, albeit limited impact on human-capital assets. The positive outcomes
of entrepreneurship education programs for management students along with
contemporary trends in educational evaluation in terms of the challenges
associated with the assessment of these programs were studied by Duval-
Couetil (2013).

RESEARCH PROBLEM:
Entrepreneurship plays a very important role in terms of generation of
employment opportunities, ensuring balanced economic development.
Entrepreneurial development accelerates the growth of MSMEs in India. These
enterprises are expected to be more innovative and make the industrial sector to
compete in the global market effectively. The advantage of Entrepreneurial
Education leads to freedom, flexibility, economic growth and development. It
also develops core leadership quality among management students..

 There seems to be a significant relationship between management
students participation in entrepreneurship education and their view of
entrepreneurship as a future career.
 There seems to be a significant relationship between age of students and

towards entrepreneurship.

data collection is done with help of structured questionnaire. The questionnaire
consists of questions related to demographical variables and then it includes
Entrepreneurial interests and willingness of risk among the management
students. Questionnaires were distributed as Google forms.
