Speaking Part 1

You are asked questions about yourself, your life and your
interests.

You should answer giving reasons and examples if


possible.

This part takes about two minutes.


Speaking Part 2

Speak for a full minute.

Compare two photos.


(Make general comparisons)

Answer a question which will be printed above the photos.

When your partner speaks about his/her photos, you


should listen.

After your partner has finished, the examiner asks you


a brief question about your partner’s topic.
Speaking Part 3

You are given some material in the form of a


discussion question and five prompts.

A two-minute discussion with another student.

One minute to decide on an agreement/solution to the


task.
Speaking Part 4

The examiner asks you both of you questions connected


with the topic you discussed in Part 3.

The questions may be about your personal experience,


your tastes and your opinions.

You may be asked if you agree with your partner’s


answers.

When your partner speaks, you should listen.

This part lasts about four minutes.
