of 200 ppm, effectively eliminated the bacteria,
System Survey yielding bacteria count of zero.

The following recommendations were made:

• Install a timer and chemical feed pump to automate

biocide addition and enhance plant safety.

• Utilize a dual biocide to reduce the possibility of

resistant strains. Dewtreat 700 and Dewtreat
701 were recommended on a rotating basis.

• DEW will provide monthly monitoring service to

promote the success of the program.

A trial was run utilizing Dewtreat 700 and Dewtreat 701

automated by a timer and chemical feed pump.
The dosage was set at 200 ppm and was added to the starch mix.
