PTA
The PTA members are invited to visit the school premise and randomly check on the
washrooms and the premise to offer suggestions for improvement and also update the
parents on the same.

Declaration Form
This year we didn’t give the children declaration forms to sign. We want children to take
more responsibility & take ownership towards their duties and behaviour during exams.
Parents to please encourage children to understand the importance of exams and to be
honest and not cheat.
Declaration forms will be given in December before the exams.

Status of Washrooms
The washrooms are now in better shape. The school has plans to increase the number of
washrooms in the coming year.

PE Department achievements
This year our PE department has participated in a lot of sports tournaments. Our students
have participated in and achieved National level medals in sports like Karate, Kho Kho and
Cricket. We will post all the latest achievements for our parents to have all the information
very soon.

Bus
Bullying in the bus has increased. A lot children have been using bad language. We have had
a few meetings with parents informing them that if this continues then we won’t be able to
provide them with the bus service.
Parents feedback:
Bus fees have increased by 50%. Parents aren’t happy with the bus infrastructure seats are
torn, springs are coming out, there is not enough space for the students to sit comfortably.
Condition of the bus is not good the bus has broken down a few times and the engine makes
a lot of noise.

Syllabus
Syllabus has been slashed as per the ICSE curriculum. We want to make it less stressful for
our children and the parents. Worksheets per subject per week will be given, which need to
be printed out. If printing is not possible then they can do them in the recap books except
for Maths. Worksheets have to be done by the children. We request parents not to help
their child in doing the worksheets. Teachers will solve the worksheets in class, on the board
and the children can correct it in pencil.
Classes 1-8 will have no RECAPS except for Maths and Languages.
Classes 9-10 will continue having their RECAPS as usual.
Maths RECAP will continue. All languages will have composition RECAP only.
Method of teaching will incorporate drilling of spellings and definitions in class to help
children memorise.
Parents suggested that :
STD 5 and 6 Hindi and Marathi worksheets should have more grammar. Please provide more
examples/ opposite.
Computer syllabus needs to be finished at least finish 3-4 days before the exams. Parents
requested not to club computer exam with another learning subject.

Uniform
Parents to please send their children in full school uniform, especially the older children.
Many of them come in their PE uniform because its comfortable even when there is no PE
lesson that day. Shoes need to be plain black (no designs and logos in colour). No leggings
are allowed during winters.

PE

A list of sport that the children can participate in class wise should be sent with timings to
the parents.
