Tanggedu waterfall tour which is located in Ndapayami, District. Kanatang, East Sumba
Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. This place is 48 kilometers (km) from Waingapu, the capital
city of East Sumba . Visitors take about 2.5 hours to get there.
Arriving at the destination, there are two waterfalls from different streams. Water flows from
a height of about 8 meters. There are also several natural bathing pools. The condition of the
water is very clean, fresh, and bluish in color.
Tourists can swim in several pools in Tanggedu Waterfall. Of course, capturing moments by
taking pictures cannot be missed. Tanggedu Waterfall Tour provides some interesting natural

waterfall as a backdrop.
Another interesting photo angle is the backdrop of the mighty sculpted rock cliffs on the left

Prices and access to Tanggedu Waterfall


The journey to this tourist spot follows the north coast (pantura) road of Sumba Island.
From Waingapu heading west for 33 km. across paved and smooth roads. Arriving at Mondu
Village, Kanatang, the journey continues by turning left towards the Tanggedu Waterfall tour
with a distance of 15 km. Visitors can use two or four-wheeled vehicles. But you have to be
extra careful, because at some point the road conditions are not yet paved. In addition, there
is a deep ravine with sharp turns. Make sure the vehicle is in prime condition before leaving
here.
Four-wheeled vehicles can only reach the suspension bridge which is about 2.5 km from
Tanggedu Waterfall. Two-wheeled vehicles can reach tourism sites. Tourists can park their
two-wheeled vehicles in a place provided by local residents. The parking fee is IDR 5,000 for
one vehicle. After parking the vehicle, visitors walk about 7 minutes to the waterfall.
Tanggedu Tourism is open every day, from morning to evening. For 1 group, the price of
admission is Rp. 50,000.
