LP 3 Firmware Upgrade & Downgrade User Guide

Note: this guide currently only aim to guide the new LP3 users with the latest firmware version (V
5.5.0.5) to downgrade firmware to V5.5.0 as to fix the preview and engraving bugs.
Risk Notification:
1) Please ensure your LP is stably powered on, and don't move it until the process is finished.
2) History engraving documents will be lost (back up first).
3) DON'T arbitrarily upgrade/downgrade firmware unless it's a must, or else you may brick
your LP.

1. Steps:
1) Power on the LP laser unit, and immediately long press the Power Button ▶till the indicator
goes blinking red. Now you've factory reset the laser unit (For video tutorial, see 1.mp4).

2) Use an Android phone to visit this URL: https://www.pgyer.com/KlD9 and download the

LaserPecker firmware Upgrade & Downgrade APP.
3) Open the above-mentioned app and connect it to your LP via Bluetooth. Then long press
"Firmware List" , find the firmware version you need, and click "Start Upgrade". Eg.
"L3_N32_DAC_V5.5.0.lpbin" (For video tutorial, see 2.mp4).
Please DON’T USE/MOVE your LP until the indicator shows Blue, which means upgradation is
finished, or else the unit will turn faulty.
