LIFE CYCLE

1. Life cycle of the butterfly has 4 stages

2. Female butterfly lays some eggs on a fresh leaf

3. A caterpillar is a herbivore, therefore, it needs a lot of vegetables or

plants to eat

4. When being a caterpillar, this stage is very hated by farmers, because at

this stage, caterpillars are very detrimental to farmers because they
damage their crops

5. The larva of butterfly is called: caterpillar. The larva of a mosquito is

called WRIGGLER, the larva of a cockroach is called THE NYMPH

6. Moulting: it is a process of an insect or animal to shed their skin into a

new skin (in Bahasa we may called it: proses GANTI KULIT). moulting
happens when the caterpillar starts to have a pupa process (it will moult
several times)

7. The pupa is stay inside the chrysalis (chrysalis in Bahasa we may say:
Kepompong) the other name of chrysalis is cocoon

8. Animals that undergo changes in form in their life cycle are undergoing
metamorphosis. Meanwhile, animals that do not change shape in their life
cycle means that they do not undergo metamorphosis.
