A person may not be who he was yesterday or may be different tomorrow, but this is
just a reminder that we are capable of change. But despite having differences and changes in
our personality and lifestyle, it is still us and it constitutes our identity. Change is an inevitable
part of human life, we cannot stop it, yet we can embrace it to become our best version of
ourselves. It is okay if we do not yet know who we truly are because there will be times when
we still need to unfold. This series of versions is what makes us who we are today, tomorrow,
and for the days to come.
My past shapes who I am today, and a new identity can flourish if it is linked to your
previous ones. To become "everything you are capable of becoming," we must acknowledge
and embrace our past selves, present selves, and everything in between. To have this authentic
identity, it encompasses the entire picture of who we believe we are and who we tell ourselves
and others we are. And you're on the right path if you live your life with meaning and purpose,
to live intentionally.
