Job description

As a full stack developer, start building on features right from entity modeling and database
structures, all the way to designing modern web components and PWAs.

Your friendly team members will share reading and materials to get you up to speed on how
Venture Capital works. You'll model business processes, financial instruments used by Venture
Capital funds ­and improve the way VC will operate in the future.

Thanks to your natural flair in communication, and a problem solving mindset, you'll interact with
our venture capital clients to translate their requirements into a Fundwave feature (or a
product!). We'll work remotely until it's safe to work together.

Keywords:

Must-know: JS, CSS, JSON, REST API, Bash, SQL, HTML5, Responsive design

Good-to-know: ES6+, Web Components (React, LitElement, Vue or similar), Build tools
(Webpack / Rollup or similar), Java, Excel, Spring, JPA, AWS, Docker.

Technical skills:

Must-know:
1. Excellent knowledge of JS or Java.
2. Familiarity with JSON.
3. Excellent knowledge of CSS, Wireframes and responsive design.
4. Experience with databases.
5. Basic experience with Bash / Linux shell.
6. Basic experience with back-end programming in any language.

Good-to-know
1. Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services.
2. Knowledge of SCSS, SASS.
3. Knowledge of Java frameworks such as Spring, JPA / Hibernate.
4. Knowledge of database procedures, PL/SQL etc.
5. ES6 and JS frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular 4+, Vue, LitElement.

8. Optional: Background in Accounting, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Investments.

Prior work experience / internships (or equivalent academic research) required.
