Subject: An application letter to become a live-in Assistant in a L’Arche Community.

Dear Respected Community Leader,

It is a great joy to send you my application, and before anything else let us thank God for having helped
us to communicate.

Let me present myself. I am an applicant identified with the name Rediet Befikadu and was brought up
as Christian rooted.

I have maturity skills and ability to embark on career learning disabilities and I would like to present a
compilation on my preferential opportunity and education formation. I have go through urban planning,
social work, Home base-care, Food Preparation, I also participated in fields like Agricultural,
Housekeeping and outreach initiatives, I have also taken basic IT course, Caregiver, and at that same
time I deeply discover myself and the importance of my live-in Assistant in a L’Arche Community.

I have received formation about learning disabilities of initiation in my education. I have good
experience in enculturation, Team work, always ready to give service with my hard worker.

What I know about living-in Assistance much of what’s required from Live-In Assistants is simply being
present in community with our Core Members (residents with Learning Disabilities).  Being part of
the L’Arche family involves some hard work and resilience, as well as lots of joy, fun and laughter.  But

I graduated as an urban and regional planner, I studied in St. Mary’s catholic school from 2013 till 2016,
and now am studying my second degree on marketing management in St. Mary’s university. I worked
with different organizations and also, I volunteer in hospitals which made me reflect, grow and
transform my whole life, I am eligible by my training and experience as a volunteer.

I hope that you will give me the chance to become a live-in Assistant L’Arche Community. Thank you for
