Poster and oral presentation directions:

Posters are becoming more and more popular as a way of divulging scientific
works, since the reader can quickly get the gist of the content, rather than
having to read long and sometimes boring written text.

In this particular case, you are asked to create a poster which aims at sharing
the information you have collected rather than divulging the results of an
experiment or scientific work.

Students will give an oral presentation and create a poster based on the
research on the topics suggested by the teacher, showing information they
have collected about the various aspects of gender inequality at the
workplace. They will receive 2 formal assessment grades for this project,
one grade will be for the presentation and one for the visual project.

These are the instructions:

 Use Publisher or PowerPoint

 Size: A3 (or near), vertical orientation
 It should be visually attractive, with contrasting colours to attract the
eye and be easier to read (you should be able to read it at 1m distance)
 Font: Arial; different sizes
 Think “outside the box” and use different shapes of text boxes
 Each poster should be identified with its author(s).
 Bibliography added at the bottom of the poster
