PART 1

Neighbours
1. Do you like your neighbours? Why/ why not?
I’d say that I'm on good terms with my neighbors. Although I have just moved into a
new place for one or two months, it doesn't take me a long time to get on well with
them because they are all amiable and generous.
2. Are your neighbours helpful?
Yes. As I have said before, they are very supportive and always willing to help me
out. For example there was a time when my father's car broke down in the morning,
they were willing to give me a lift and take me to school.
3. Would you prefer to have young neighbours or old neighbours? Why?
Honestly I don't really mind. I mean age or generation gap is not a problem, the thing
is I can feel at ease when speaking to them and they would also respect my privacy.
4. Do you think your neighbourhood is safe?
Not really, even though I have I have not got involved in any problem, it doesn't
mean that it won’t happen. That's the reason why I can’t let my guard down and
always need someone to keep me company such as my parents or my sister or my
neighborhoods

Remembering names
1. Is it easy or difficult for you to remember people's names?
I would say that I have a mind like a sieve so it'll be hard for me to remember
people's names but I'm trying my best to do so.
2. How would you feel if you forgot someone's name?
It depends on the relationship I have with that person. For example, when I forget
my acquaintances' names I’d be embarrassed because I think that I had let them
down by not giving them their names. If I can’t remember the person that I have
made once or twice it'll be understandable because I haven't much time to talk to him
or her.
3. What do you usually do to remember names better?
I find it quite effective to associate their names with subjects with objects. I mean
objects if their name has a special meaning in Vietnamese or associate them with
their hairstyles or their traits too.

Family
1. Do you live alone or with your family?
I have been living with my nuclear my family which is a nuclear family for 17 years.
However, in the future if I can earn a living on my own, I would like to move out and
live independently
2. Do you have a good relationship with your family members?
Absolutely we have been in a close-knit family. Because we have a lot of things in
common we usually share with each other about our hobbies or taste of music or
films. For me, my parents and my sister are the ones who point me in the right
direction in life.
3. Is it common for Vietnamese people to visit their relatives? How often?
I think it is quite popular among Vietnamese people to pay others in their circle a visit
because social connection is of great importance to Vietnamese people. When it
comes to frequency, I’d say that Vietnamese people usually do it on special in
special occasions such as birthday parties, housewarming parties or weddings.
there are some times they would visit their relatives in Tet Lunar New Year in VN
too.

PART 2
okay so I’d like to talk about a person I found the most impressive in my primary
school years whose name is Lan. Miss Lan was my first homeroom teacher. When I
first met her she was in her forties so she might be in her fifties now. Regarding her
appearance, she had an average height and a slim figure. I was deeply impressed
by her sweet voice and graceful handwriting too. The thing about her I was mostly
impressed is that she was a real nature lover. I mean if my memory serves me right,
she has spent most of her spare time taking part in environment protection
campaigns and also she held a lot of competitions in class to help students know
more about the environment and become more responsible for the surrounding
environment. I still remember vividly there was a time when I was told off by her
because of lettering on the schoolyard which made me more eco-conscious now. In
conclusion, although I have been under guidance of many teachers, she is still
remaining the best one in my heart and I hope she will always be healthy and happy.
