4. Project 1: Went through slides of lymph nodes scans looking for germinal centers. I would
identify these spots with a pen feature on the site which is then used to better
improve the AI software used for identifying these centers.

Project 2: Viewed short clips of aurora and identified the type, flow, and clarity of each
video clip. There are thousands of hours of aurora which need identification in
order to do statistical studies on the data to understand how different small-
scale shapes and movements are formed and to learn what conditions are
needed for those shapes and movements to happen.

5. Project 1: I chose this project because it helps in the identification of breast cancer. I
learned that the development of AI learning software used to perform these
identifying functions requires an enormous amount of manual data entry and
identification from humans in order to provide a data set for the software to
learn from.

Project 2: I chose this project simply because I find the aurora beautiful and wanted to
learn more about it. I did not realize how many different types of aurorae exist
and the varying movement types of the aurora.
