It was the summer break.

I had been thinking about a sea side holiday in

Spain for forever, and the time had finally come. I had all prepared: booked plane
tickets, checked in luggage, an itinerary with must-see sights and everything you
could think of. I was ready for anything that might be coming my way, or so I
thought.
As I was about to board the plane. I could not believe what was happening.
My name was being called out throughout the whole airport, saying I had been
randomly chosen to switch my flight, because of overbooked-tickets. Anxiety
starting crawling up my whole body, sending shivers down my spine. My carefully
constructed plan was in vain. That was my nightmare. Waiting for the next flight
was out of the question, so I took the chance.
Not long after, still getting over a small panic attack, the plane took off. As I
was looking out the window, instead of the sunny golden sand beaches, there was
a wonderland of glistening ice crystals and powdery white snow. The jagged peaks
we’re rising up like tusks, piercing through the clouds. I knew I was I going to love
that place.
Is was not very pleasant to have my meticulously planned trip completely
turned upside down by some unexpected circumstance, but it ended up being an
unforgettable adventure.
It was supposed to be an ordinary train ride, but things took a terrifying
turn when the train was suddenly hijacked. I was on my way to visit my family in
another city when the train came to a sudden stop. At first, I thought it was just a
minor delay, but then I heard shouting and the sound of gunshots.
Panic set in as I realized what was happening. The train had been hijacked
by a group of armed men, and we were all their hostages. The air was thick with
tension and fear as we waited for the hijackers to make their demands known.
We we’re just pawns in their game to get what they wanted.
For hours, we sat in silence, our hearts pounding as we heard the hijackers
talking in hushed tones. The atmosphere was harsh, and it felt like time had come
to a standstill.
Thankfully, after what felt like an eternity, the negotiations were successful,
and we were eventually released. As I left the train and was reunited with my
family, I felt a wave of relief wash over me.
The experience made me realize how vulnerable we all are and how
important it is to cherish every moment of our lives.
