Date: 16 | D Jos RPAD Code : APS03548 TO BE PUBLISHED IN GAZETTE OF INDIA PART III SECTION 4 Preamble: The Rastriya Sanskrit Sansthan Deemed University, Guruvayur Campus, Thrissur, Kerala has been granted recognition with an intake of 400 students for B.Ed course. The Government of India in Central Educational institution (Reservation in Admission) Act, 2007, has made separate quota for OBCs. The Central Government has decided to enhance the intake of Government institutions for providing reservations under the said Act to the OBCs. The Rastriya Sanskrit Sansthan Deemed University, Guruvayur_Campus, Thrissur, Kerala has made application on 25.09.2008 requesting for increase oF intake of | 27 students in view of the above Act. The NCTE, New Delhi in its letter dated 20.08.2008 has informed to consider on . priority the applications received under the above category for increase in intake. The application submitted by the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan Deemed University for increase in the intake from 100 to 127 was placed before SRC in its 167” v Piesting held on 17° and 10" November, 2006. The SRC considered the matter and decided to enhance the intake of the institution from 100 to 127 subject to providing infrastructural and instructional facilities as per NCTE Norms and Standards, ig polen the order. y ORDER WHEREAS in terms of Section 15(1) of the NCTE Act, 1993 Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan Deemed University, Guruvayur Campus, Puranattukara, Thrissur — CWA 680551, Kerala has submitted an application to the Souther Regional Committee of NCTE for grant of permission for conducting B.Ed course with an additional intake of 27 ijents on 25.09.2008 as per the provisions of the Resenvation in admission Act, 2007. we Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers vested under Section 15(3)(a) of the NCTE Act, 1993, the Souther Regional Committee hereby grants permission to Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan Deemed University, Guruvayur Campus, Puranattukara, Thrissur ~ 680551, Kerala for conducting B.Ed course of One and twenty seven) red) students and an the academic session Norms & Procedure) ditions: year duration with an annual intake of 127° students which includes the existing intake of additional intake of 27 (Twenty seven) 2008-09 under clause 7(11) of NCTE Regulations, 2007 subject of fulfilment of Contd..... The institution shall comply with the various other norms and standards prescribed in the NCTE regulations, as amended from time to time. ji, The institution shall make admission only after it obtains affiliation from the examining body in terms of clause 8(12) of the NCTE( Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations,2007 ii, The institution shall ensure that the required number of academic staff for conducting the course is always in position. 3. Further, the recognition is subject to fulfilment of all such other requirements as may be prescribed by other regulatory bodies like UGC, affilating University! Body, the State Government etc, as applicable 4. The institution shall submit to the Regional Committee a Self-Appraisal Report at the end of each academic year along the statement of annual accounts duly audited by a Chartered Accountant. 5. The institution shall maintain & update its Web-site as per provisions of NCTE Regulations and always display following as mandatory disclosure:- () Copy of the Application Form (i) Land and Building Particulars (ii) Staff Profile (iv) Recognition letter (vy) Information for having fulfilled the norms & standard and other required conditions. 6. Ifthe institution contravenes any of the above conditions or the provisions of the NCTE Act, Rules, Regulations and Orders made or issued there under, the Regional Committee shall withdraw the recognition as under the provisions of Section 17(1) of the NCTE Act.
