DESCRIPTION
The apparatus constists of M.S. tank of size 50
cmx50cm x100cm height with drain cock. The tank
is mounted on a stand. The supply to the tank is
taken through inlet pipe with an arrangement of
diffusor to obtain quiescent flow. An overflow pipe is
provided at the centre of tank. By Raising or Lowering
is position constant head over orifice or mouth piece
is obtained. A piezometer tube registers the head
over the centre line of the orifice. An easy
arrangement is there to interchange different orifice
or mouth pieces. With the help of special guage
arrangement provided over the orifice or mouth piece
opening, x &Y co-ordinates of jet are measured.
Measuring tank of 100 litre capacity with a drain
valve anf guage glass is supplied with the equipment.
