Pandemic has not just affected our way of living not just physical but to mental health as well. I
chose this painting since it reflected me of how I was doing and my well-being during the lockdown. All
of us are deprived of going out of our houses and no social contact by means of physical being.

The painting made by Van Lanigh represents the anxiety and blues that is full of worries of what
was yesterday, present, and what is about to happen. Personally, I can see myself in the painting.
Deprived of social contact made me sick mentally and suffered so much anxieties and worries, just like in
the picture or painting. The colors in me are kept and I could feel it fading time to time due to worries.
All I can let out were blues and keep on worrying what will happen, will I be infected by the virus or
what. That is why I chose this painting because it gave me a picture of my well-being during the
pandemic.
