CONDITIONAL FORMS

RAPPEL
 Le conditionnel est surtout exprimé en anglais à l’aide de « would »
mais il est davantage un aspect de la modalité qu’un temps ou un
mode autonome.

 Le conditionnel s ’emploi surtout dans trois contextes:

 Pour indiquer la politesse.
Ex: I would like the menu please.

 Pour exprimer le « futur du passé.

Ex: I thought she would arrive before me

 Dans les « If-clauses », les constructions hypothétiques.

Ex: If I had the time, I would do my homework.
 IF-CLAUSES
