Initial and Mid-Test result of ECCD

12 sections of Kindergarten with a total of 815 pupils during the Pre-


Evaluation and only 775 pupils took the ECCD MidTest. Based on the given
report 11.87% of pupils showed Significant delay which is much lower compare
to the previous result. As stated in the given data, almost half of the total
numbers which is equivalent to 39.35 % showed Slight delay, and also indicated
above, the most percentage of learners who manifested great progress with a
percentage of 48.78% belong to the Average development. The teachers gave
immediate action or effective strategies in helping the learners improve on
different aspects nevertheless, there are some factors that affect children’s
development.
Aside from providing activity sheets, ready-made instructional materials,
and manipulative activities. The teachers may continue or utilize suggested
strategies such as peer tutoring, play-based activity, demonstration, modeling,
storytelling activity, and experiential learning. Also, reinforce and appreciate
learners’ little efforts in achieving or accomplishing something by giving positive
feedback and keeping communication open to parents/consultation to let them
be aware of their child’s status.
